Series: (Zero) Natsume Yuujinchou / Natsume's Book of Friends

Story:

The maincharacter of this story is called Natsume. He has the ability to see spirits. His grandmother Reiko had the ability, too. She fightes spirits and when they lost they needed to write down their names in the „Book of Friends“ so she is the master of the spirit then.

After Reiko died Natsume got the book and now the spirits want their name back. Only a few spirits just come and ask – but a lot of just attack Natsume.

The Book of Friends is a highly prized item in the spirit world. Also Madara wants to have this book – but not because his name is written inside – he just want to have the power. After Madara met Natsume he decided to make a contract. Madara acts as Natsumes bodyguard and if Natsume dies he'll get the Book of Friends. So the adventure beginns.



My opinion:

I started with season two of this anime, because I didn't know that there are two seasons, but in the end it was ok. You easily understand, what this anime is about. I like the different characters of the youkais and the humans and the fact, that Natsume tries to hide his abilities. He had a bad past, because he allways said, what he saw and noone believes him.

In the end I like the side characters a little bit more then the maincharacter. Natori with his youkai servants and the little fox-boy are so nice personallies.

I read, that just 2 of the 7 manga volumes were animated. I hope the rest will come in future, too. Great story, great characters – I want more of this!

Story:

Lydia is a fairy doctor. In the past often people visited the fairy docter if they had problems with fairies, but during the time people stoped believing in those fairytales. So Lydia rarely have something to do.

While she headed on a ship to London to meet her father she meets a beautiful young man, who seems like to run away from something. On her journey her cat named Nico is allways on her side. Nico is a fairy cat.

The beautiful man introduces himself as Edgar Ashenbert, the head of the legendary Earl Blue Knight. Her asks Lydia for her help in obtaining the Sword of Mellow, passed down from generation to generation in the family of Earl Blue Knight. Edgar has also a bodyguard called Raven, who would kill others if Edgar tells him to do. Lydia doesn't really trust them, but she has no choice – she needs money – and so she helps them to find the sword and getting evolved into a mystical fight with a lot of lies.



My opinion:

I'm so happy, that this story doesn't end in a lovestory. Even if Edgar seems to be interested in Lydia he still loves Ravens sister. Whoever thought fairies are allways cute little lovely things is wrong. Demonlike fairies trying to kill, to kidnap, to steal and much more. It's not this colourfull shiny world – it also can be dark and lonley.
I really love this anime even if you just know what will happen next. It's not a must-seen, but like I said, I love it :) and I also buyed the DVD! Yay!

I think this makes only sense in a group. From the clothing style somehow reminds on Kuroshitsuji (yes you can't see it just on this picture above, but maybe watch the videos). I won't cosplay anything from this series, but I allready saw some nice costumes from this anime.

Series: Nanatsuiro Drop

Story:

This story is about a boy called Tsuwabuki. One day he meets Akihime, a shy little girl and her best friend Nadeshiko. The same day Tsuwabuki bumped into Arthur. Arthur is from Figurare – a magical world. He drops some magical potion and Tsuwabuki pardonly tooks the wrong can and drinks the magical potion. Because of this Tsuwabuki transforms into a little stuffed lamb. From now on he will allways turns into this form at night and back into human form at daytime - except on fullmoon or newmoon.

To get back into his normal form forever he needs to collect seven stardrops. Together with Akihime, who don't know who this little lamb is, he collects the drops at night. But they won't be the only one fighting for drops...

During this time Tsuwabuki starts fallig in love with Akihime.



My opinion:

I'm not a fan of magical girl series and this Akihime is such a cry-baby.. I get headache whenever she starts to cry. I just saw this anime, because of some cosplayers.

In the end the story was ok, but really not my taste. If you like magical girl series or even cute stuff, maybe you'll love this anime :)

I think I wouldn't cosplay anything from this series. I'm just not cute enough for this and in the end I didn't even really like this anime.

But yeah, it's possible to do some cosplays – hey it's a magical girl series.. you can cosplay all magical girl anime/manga ;)

Series: sWitch

Story:

Hal and Kai are two policemans. Both are good friends and they also are in an undercover-mission against some drug dealers and mysterious organizations. Kai is a real calm man, but in some situation there is like a „switch“ in his brain, that turns him to some kind of psychopath.

Quote:

Hal: "Let me know if you need my help on something. I'll do anything."

Kai: "Anything?"

Hal: "I want to be useful to you."

Kai: "Then what if I told you to die? Would you do that?"



My opinion:

To say the truth.. I didn't understand the second episode because I just found one with chinese subtitles.

The series reminds somehow on Death Note – just without shinigamis ;) I really like it, but I'm not sad, that it just has 2 episodes. The end is kinda „wtf?“, but I don't want to spoil. I wish it would have another ending. The style and story, also the characters are great.

Because it just has two episodes I would say to everybody who like anime like Death Note: Just try this out, dude!

Series: Yozakura Quartet

Story:

The story is about friends that run an office called Hiizumi Life Counseling Office. This office protects the peace of the town called Sakurashin. In this town youkais and humans live together. Sometimes bad youkais attacks the town and the the people from the office „destroy“ the enemie. Everybody in this office have special abilities.

The town is also protected by a barrier created by the spiritual sakura known as The Seven Pillars. These trees exist in the human and in the youkai world, so they keep both worlds connected. That's how the youkais can go to the human world.



My opinion:

Could you kill your best friend, just to protect the thing you like the most? The idea of the story is okay, but somehow you really know what will happen next. I like the different characters in the story.

A lot of people said this anime is really boring, but I don't think so. Sometimes it's really funny, sometimes really emotional. But in the end it's not a must-seen.

Hello everybody.

My name is Anja. I'm 22 years old in moment and I'm from germany.
I'm a big Anime and Manga fan and I'm collecting whatever I can collect. In moment I have more then 2000 Manga books and more then 300 Anime-DVDs and it's getting more and more.
Because I often forget, what I allready read or viewed I started to make a little dairy in a german board. But now I want to make it this way, so everybody can read it.
When I watched a new series or read a new manga I'll write it down. A short summary and my opinion.
I also want to start cosplaying, so I may add some cosplay ideas and also some pictures.
I hope you enjoy it.
